Budget Hearing/Special Meeting of the Electors

 

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Wayne regarding the proposed budget for 2010 at the Town Hall, 6030 Mohawk Road, Campbellsport, WI  53010.  A special meeting of the electors shall be held immediately following to approve the proposed road expenditures of $296,795, the sum of proposed public works and Capitol Improvement expenditures and to set the tax levy proposed to be $225,000.   The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the clerk’s office from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesdays or 1:00p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays or by appointment, call 262-629-9199.

The proposed budget results in an increase of $25,000 in the property tax levy for the town.

A public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Wayne on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 6030 Mohawk Road, Campbellsport, WI 53010 to receive public comment on an application for a conditional use permit for Andy Ritger, N9078 Midland Drive, Campbellsport, WI 53010.  Granting the conditional use permit will allow the applicant to construct a pond on his property.  Tax key number T12 0193 00A.

In accordance with Section 60.61 (4) (c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Town of Wayne will hold a public hearing on October 20, 2009, 7:30 p.m. at Wayne Town Hall 6030 Mohawk Road, Campbellsport, WI 53010.  The proposed ordinance will change the density in the A-2 and R-1 zoning districts from one home per five acres to one home per 10 acres; and change the density in the R-2 and R-4 zoning districts from one home per three acres to one home per two acres.   The location of A-2, R-1, R-2, and R-4 zoning districts are shown on the Town zoning map, which can be review at the Wayne Town Hall during the hours of Tuesday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or by appointment.   No changes are proposed to the Town zoning map

There will be a Kohlsville Volunteer Fire Department Appreciation Night commencing at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009.  The meeting will be held at the Kohlsville Fire Department, 7678 County Hwy WW, West Bend, WI 53090.

 

This gathering is solely informational.  No formal action can or will take place.  It is possible that attendance by other board members may constitute a "meeting" of the Town of Wayne or the Town of Wayne Planning Committee pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v Greendale Village Board, 173 Wis.2d 553, 494 N.W. 2d 408 (1993).  However, board members and planning committee members present will not and cannot take formal action at this time.

Town of Wayne

Seal Coat Surfacing with Cold Mix Wedging

 

Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Wayne in Washington County until September 29th at 5:00 p.m., 2009.  The work shall consist of Cold Mix Wedging and patching prior to seal coating to remove existing deformations.  Seal Coating will be done with EM8 Asphalt with Black Boiler Slag for a cover aggregate.  Excess material will be swept up or off 10 days after sealing.  This bid will be a lump sum bid on each road.  The roads will be:  Beaver Dam (W to Midland), Midland (D to Beaver Dam), Midland (Mohawk to 28), Lake Bernice (28 to St. Killian), St. Killian (Town Line to Lake Bernice).  Contact person: Carl Klemme, Town Chairman @ 262-626-4592.  Address of town hall:  6030 Mohawk Road, Campbellsport, WI 53010.

            Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held at the Town Hall located at 6030 Mohawk Road in the Town of Wayne, before the Planning Commission on September 15, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following changes in the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wayne, Washington County, WI to wit:

 

1.       To create Section 4.06(L) of the Zoning Ordinance relating to In-Law Units in the A-2 Agricultural/Rural Residential, R-1 and R-4 Residential Districts.
