Resolution 2007 –  4

 

Whereas there are certain activities and services the Town provides that allow the Town of Wayne to collect a fee for these services and activities: and.

Whereas the Town Board may review the fee schedule and adjust the fees from time to time.

 

Section 1.         FEES

Therefore be it resolved that the following fee schedule shall be observed effective January 1, 2008:

 

Trash Disposal

Burning Barrels:                                                $5.00 per barrel

Trash Bag Fee:                                     $17.00 per box

Tipping Fee:                                                     $1.00 per small clear bag, $2.00 for not small clear bag and $3.00 per not clear bag and a fee as directed by the collection supervisor for items not bagged.  $5.00 for automobile sized tires $10.00 or as directed by collection supervisor for tires larger than automobile tires.  $15.00 for couches and carpet.  $10.00 for other furniture.  As directed by collection supervisor for other materials.

Liquor & Cigarettes

Operator License: [bartender license]                $15.00

Class B Liquor                                     $120.00

Cigarette License                                              $25.00

 

Real Estate and Land Use

Title Questionnaire Completion/Certification:                             $10.00 per item

Certification of Real Property Taxes/Bills to Financial Institutions:           $10.00 per item

Requests for zoning classification:                                                          $10.00 per item

Rezoning Petition & Hearing                                         $400.00 per tax key number

Conditional Use Permit & Hearing                                $400.00 per tax key number

CSM Review                                                               $400.00 per parcel/lot/homestead

Road Access and Culverts:

 

Driveway/Culvert Permit           [includes final inspection]                                   $150.00           Bond $500.00

Additional Inspection in connection with permitting                    $75.00 per occurrence

As needed, the Culvert Inspector may request bonding or engineering of projects.  If needed, the Town Attorney shall prepare the bonding agreement at the expense of the permit applicant, the fees for engineering and review of same shall be borne by the permit applicant.  Such bonding or engineering requests may be reviewed by the Town Board.

 

Record Certification and Copying:                                 $5.00 per quarter hour or fraction

thereof for searching and $.25 per page for copying

Other costs and expenses:

 

All publication fees shall be passed along to the party initiating the action requiring a publication.

 

Costs of professional services such as legal fees, engineering fees and recording fees incurred by the Town in the course of business shall be passed to the party requiring the service.

 

Costs of repairs to town property shall be passed through to the party responsible for the damage.

 

Upon billing, all fees [or amounts] shall be payable within 30 days.  If not paid within 30 days, interest will be charged at the rate of 1% per month for an annual rate of 12%.

Section 2 SEVERABILITY.  If any provision of this ordinance is determined to be invalid or unconstitutional, or if the application of this ordinance to any person or circumstance is invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality will not affect the other provision or applications of this ordinance which can be given effect aside from the invalid or unconstitutional provision or application.

 

Section 3.  This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
