Please note that a conditional use permit requires a public hearing. The public hearings are scheduled the same night as the plan commission meetings. The calendar is as follows:
The Town Board Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the Month.
The Plan Commission meetings are held the preceding Tuesday.
Materials for presentation to the planning commission are due to the Town clerk two Fridays prior to the plan commission meeting.
Our official newspaper is the West Bend Daily News, a daily paper. We must publish at least one full week prior to the date of the meeting and once in the week preceding the full week prior to the meeting. Two days lead time is required for publication. You will be billed for the cost of the publication.
In order for a notice of public hearing to be published timely, it must be submitted to the Newspaper three Mondays prior to the Town board meeting.
The Town clerk is usually at work at his regular job on Mondays, so is usually not available that day to prepare publication materials.
Therefore, you must contact the Town clerk three weekends before the town board meeting if a public notice is required for your business before the town board or planning commission. You may do this by making an appointment with the clerk, my home phone is 629-5032. Christian T. Kuehn, clerk
