Summer G.R.E.A.T.

The Lake Mills Police Department, in conjunction with the Optimist Club, is sponsoring this annual summer program.  A component of the G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) this program is geared towards kids in grades 4 through 8.  Students will build self-esteem, improve problem-solving and decision-making skills by taking healthy risks, meet new friends, and learn positive alternative activities to drugs, alcohol and gangs.  This program meets in the afternoons, one or two days per week, depending on registration numbers, for 7 weeks.
