SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL

SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL  -  ORDINANCE 7-1-6

The owner, occupant, or person in charge of each lot or part of lot shall, as soon as practicable, and within twenty-four (24) hours after cessation of the storm depositing snow or ice, remove or cause to be removed such snow or ice from the abutting sidewalks.  When ice has so formed upon any sidewalk that it cannot be removed, the person herein referred to shall keep the same sprinkled with ashes, sawdust or sand in such a way as to prevent the same from being dangerous.
