"What Atheism Isn't"		  
In this episode we demolish the often erroneous definition of what atheism is with the help of call-in guests Secret Chimp, Rook Hawkins, and Sapient. We also read a few listener mails, including an item solicited from Maverick of Atheists Anonymous who is currently running a thread entitled "What Atheism Isn't" on his message board.

Atheism is not:

  • a hobby,
  • a belief,
  • a lifestyle,
  • a religion,
  • a philosophy,
  • a world view,
  • a political stance,
  • a phase,
  • a rebellion,
  • a mentality,
  • a system,
  • a set of rules,
  • a license to kill,
  • a prohibition on spirituality,
  • an excuse to be immoral,
  • a satanic cult,

and finally, atheism is not a capitalized word.
