Setup - FTP
While the support desk does not support 3rd party FTP programs, there are some basic setups for the common FTP programs out there. If you do not have a domain (i.e www.mydomainname.com) or a user page (www.netwurx.net/~userid) you can give us a call to discuss setting one up. FTP Voyager
1. Start FTP Voyager, and click the "Connect" button to start the Site Profile Manager. 2. Click "New Site" and add the following information: Name: The name of your site, like "My Website" 3. (Optional) If your server requires a secure connection, you can configure this by clicking "Advanced", going to "Security", and setting the desired type of encryption 4. Click "Connect", and you are now logged in to your FTP server! Note: In the top pane, you will see the files that are located on the server. The middle pane shows files located on your computer, and the bottom pane shows active transfers. If you encounter problems logging in to the server, you can diagnose the problem by right-clicking in the Log Pane in the lower-left corner, choosing "Save To File", and sending this file to your FTP hosting provider.
