Webmail Issues?

Netwurx, Inc. has received many reports of users with webmail issues. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our customers, however, we were forced to switch to the new webmail system after our older SquirrelMail system became compromised.

That being said, we have discovered a few work-arounds for issues that our customers have been seeing.

Deleting Emails
Users have been reporting that deleting emails in the new webmail system does not work at all. This is due to a option in Personal Settings being turned on, that causes an email to be marked for deletion, rather than deleted. It is quite a simple fix.
1. In the upper-righthand corner, click on the "Personal Settings" link. There is a small icon of a gear next to it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page that displays. You should see a list of about 5 checkboxes, one of which will be "Flag the message for deletion instead of delete". This option needs to be unchecked.
3. Press the Save button at the bottom of the page. After you have done that, you can return to your inbox by clicking on the Netwurx icon in the upper-lefthand corner of the screen

Emails not displaying
Another issue we've seen is where the inbox icon on the lefthand side of the page will display an incorrect number of emails. It may report that a user has more emails than are being displayed in the inbox. This issue again is related to a Personal Settings option. The fix...
1. In the upper-righthand corner, click on the "Personal Settings" link. There is a small icon of a gear next to it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page that displays. You should see a list of about 5 checkboxes, one of which will be "Compact Inbox on logout". This option needs to be unchecked.
3. Press the Save button at the bottom of the page. After you have done that, click on the Logout link in the top-righthand corner of the page.
4. Re-login to the webmail system, and view your inbox. Your emails may be returned to their normal state.

If these steps don't work for you, or you have any other issues/questions, don't hesitate to contact us!
